Norhern Michigan is home and inspiration to many talented fine artists, musicians, writers, poets, filmmakers, craftspeople, winemakers, hand crafted breweries and chefs. It’s easy to see how we all need each other to help ignite the flames that fire up our personal creative energies.

It’s hard to imagine an artist or craftsperson working in a vacuum, I personally crave music, food, spirits and the colors and sounds along with the fabulous lighting Mother Nature provides daily.
I also try to draw on my collective personal experiences and relationships to stir the creative juices on a regular basis.

Although I enjoy sharing a vulnerable expression and view of the world through my prints and art, my hope is that the viewer will try to revisit and savor their own experiences when viewing my artwork.

I personally think that art has the ability to reach deep inside to pull out a remembered pleasure or pain. As an artist I believe in sharing all of these events – good or bad, so others can use an opportunity to contemplate their own recollections while relating to artwork that moves them and ultimately makes them feel more alive.
